- ID for every occupant.
- Proof of income: pay slips (last 3), freelancer tax registration or certified income statement.
- Guarantee: property-backed guarantee, rental surety insurance or salary-backed guarantee depending on the property.
Surety insurance: the growing option
More and more landlords accept surety insurance instead of a property-backed guarantee. It's purchased online, costs between one and two months' rent (financeable) and speeds up signing.
The lease
Leases typically run 24 or 36 months, with updates based on the index agreed between the parties. Always read the update clause and termination terms.
